Each new inscription includes up to 72 letters free, with additional letters charged separately, so families can plan costs clearly from the outset.
Our range includes premium gold leaf lettering and durable paint finishes in gold, silver, white, and black, alongside lead lettering and relief-style lettering for deeper visual impact. Every new inscription is completed in our Swinton workshop by experienced memorial masons, using controlled methods that ensure crisp lines and consistent quality.

When adding to an existing memorial, our priority is preserving the original character of the stone. We match the existing lettering style as closely as possible, whether the original was hand-cut, machine-cut, or sandblasted. In practice, sandblasted lettering is our primary method for additions, as it gives strong, clean results and integrates well with modern inscription work.
We carefully replicate font profile, spacing, line balance, and depth so the new wording feels like a natural continuation of the existing memorial rather than a visible patch. For traditional and heritage-style memorials, we can also provide lead lettering to maintain historical consistency and authenticity where that is preferred.

If a memorial is looking tired or the lettering has faded, we offer restoration services to improve clarity, appearance, and dignity. We start with a condition assessment to determine the safest and most effective finish, so the repair respects the stone’s age and condition.
Most standard memorials can be refreshed through onsite repainting, which many families prefer for convenience. For pieces with gold-leaf-guided lettering, we recommend returning the memorial to our workshop, where a controlled environment allows us to restore the gold detailing carefully and preserve it to a high standard.
